OSAKA Hikari-Renaissance 2011
Osaka Hikari-Renaissance Executive Committee (consists of Osaka city and representatives from the private sector) is planning OSAKA Hikari-Renaissance 2011 from December 14 (Wed), 2011 to December 25 (Sun). Building a town of lights, the 9th OSAKA Hikari-Renaissance is the symbol of Aqua Metropolis Osaka, beaming out the energy of Osaka in “light” from Nakanoshima, Osaka.
This year, numerous plans have been prepared for the “Central Venue” around Osaka City Central Public Hall and the “East Venue” in Nakanoshima Park (Rose Garden, etc.), and are waiting for you to come and see them.
This time, “exchange” created through the joint efforts of a lot of people and “energy” collected here will be delivered from Nakanoshima, Osaka, to Kansai and to disaster victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake. LEDs with lower electricity consumption are used for the electrical decoration of this event, and environmental-friendly electricity is used as much as possible in consideration for the environment and overall electricity consumption.
